"Nathan E. Manock
Canby --- Nathan E. Manock,
73, died Tuesday at his home
in Canby.
He was born at Whiteson
near McMinnviller and received
a degree in pharmacy from the
Oregon State University in 1917.
Manock lived in Sheridan from
1917 until 1921, then moved to
Aurora where he owned and op-
erated a drug store until mov-
ing to Canby in 1946. He retired
in 1959.
Manock was a Navy veteran
of World War I and a member
of Canby American Legion.
Surviving are a son, Eugene,
Salem; a daughter, Lois Dinte-
man, Canby; a sister, Ida Bur-
rell, Canby; six grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Fri-
day in the Canby chapel of Ev-
erhart & Kent. Burial will be
in Willamette National Ceme-
tery, Portland." (front of original)
