Excelsior diary of 1873 kept by I. R. Moores. "I. R. Moores Portland Oregon written on the first inner page. Pocket in the back used for notes and papers. No papers were found in the pocket. In the calendar, Moores makes note of special events on certain days, for example, on Saturday, August 2nd he writes, "Great Fire in Portland". He also records various transactions and taxes paid. |
