Bk. 2 p. 50 a delicate and educated girl whose father objected to the match. She died in a tie-cutting camp along the railroad the next year in giving birth to a son, also Francois Xavier. II + Flora Warner of 1600 North Rhododendron, No. 49, in Florence passed away Sep- tember 9, 1981, at the age of 64. He was born May 22, 1917, in Oak- ridge, Oregon. He was married to Ottorene Wittstruck, December 31, 1938, in Vancouver, Washington. He was a member of Isaac Wal- ton Leauge and belonged to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engi- neers, Lodge No. 476, for the past 30 years. Besides his wife, he is sur- vived by 2 children: Dee Dompier of Veneta and Diana Starr of Moun- tain Home, Idaho; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Fred of Eugene, Ore- gon, and THomas of Winston; 3 sis- ters: Mary Towne of Mitchell, Ore- gon, Agnes Olson and Sarah Gilker- son, both of Oakridge. Funeral services will be held in POOLE- LARSEN CHAPEL at 10:30 a.m. September 12 with the Reverend Les Erb officiating. Private crema- tion will be held in the Poole-Lar- sen Crematorium.
